The 5 people suspected to have murdered the head of Ndiga clan and businessman Eng. Daniel Bbosa over yesterday appeared before Mwanga 2 Magistrate Court for the mention of their case.
Presiding grade one Magistrate Adams Byarugaba further remanded them to Luzira prison untill 30th/ May 2024 as state prosecutor reported of on- going police investigations.
Bbosa, also the proprietor of TransaBosa Electricals, was killed on March 24, 2024, at Kikandwa Village, Lunguja, Lubaga Division.
Residents pursued the assailants who were riding on a motorcycle and killed one of the suspects, while another was rushed to Mulago Hospital, where he received treatment before appearing in court to face murder charges.
The suspects who with malice aforethought, unlawfully caused the death of the victim, include; Lujja Noah, a 21 year old, Mason of Kabanga village, Mpigi town council, Nakiguli Harriet, a 40 year old, peasant of Nkere zone, Kawempe division, Nakabale Jpseph, a 47 year old, Painter of Gala village, in Mpigi Town Council, Mayanja Ezra of Kiganda zone in Kawempe division and Naluwenda Milly, a 46 year old, Secretary of Kisekwa Court of Buganda and resident of Kitunzi zone 7 Rubaga division.
The hunt for the suspect and mastermind of the alleged murder, a one Lujja Bbosa Tabula, who is on the run and still hiding, remains active and ongoing. In addition, the bounty offer of Ugx 10m, has been extended, for anyone who can avail us with credible information, that can lead to his arrest.
