Engineer Daniel Ssebugwawo, the husband of State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, has passed away.
He died this morning at the age of 89, just two days shy of celebrating his 90th birthday.
The cause of his death has not been officially disclosed by the family, though close family friend reported that he succumbed to cancer and the challenges associated with advanced age.
Funeral and burial arrangements have yet to be announced, but updates will be provided once details are available.
Engineer Ssebugwawo was a successful businessman and prominent landlord, owning large plots of land in Naalya, a prime suburb of Kampala. He was also a founding member of Nkumba University.
Joyce and Daniel’s journey together as lovers began in 1963 at a family wedding.
