Ugandan socialite and entrepreneur Zari Hassan, popularly known as The Boss Lady, was recently involved in a car accident in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The incident, which occurred in the Sandton area during late morning traffic, left her luxury Range Rover significantly damaged.
Taking to social media shortly after the crash, Zari Hassan reassured her fans that she was safe and recovering well.
“Honestly, I’m just grateful to be alive right now. It was terrifying. Thank you to everyone for checking on me,” she wrote.
Photos shared on her platforms showed the extent of the damage: the vehicle’s front end was severely crumpled, with a twisted bonnet, shattered headlights, and a smashed bumper. While the exact cost of repairs is yet to be confirmed, early estimates suggest it could be substantial.
Zari Hassan confirmed that she was shaken but escaped serious injury, crediting the vehicle’s safety features for preventing a worse outcome. She did not disclose whether she was alone at the time of the accident or if another party was involved.
