Ugandan singer  Hajara Namukwaya alias Spice Diana has removed the video of her remix of Gwokute Gwobba, originally by Uncle Chumi from her YouTube channel.

The decision reportedly came after growing pressure from her loyal fanbase, known as The Spice Gadgets.

The remix, released in March, had quickly gained traction online, amassing thousands of views.

But tensions began to rise earlier this week when fans urged Diana to cut ties with Uncle Chumi, citing his alleged disrespect toward the singer.

Fans accused Chumi of mocking and belittling Spice Diana in multiple interviews. She also claimed he was coerced into the remix project by Diana’s manager, Roger Lubega—a claim that appears to have shocked Diana.

In response, Spice Diana expressed disappointment in Chumi’s remarks, stating that she had welcomed her into her life and had always treated her with kindness.

Before making her mark in music, Diana began her career as an actress with Equator Production in Luzira. She transitioned to music with her breakout hit Onsanula, a self-written track produced by Dr. Fizo. The video for the song was filmed by her former production team.

Diana has named Onsanula among her top four favorite tracks, alongside Koona (featuring Pallaso), Ndi Mu Love (written by King Saha), and Siri Regular (written by Nince Henry).
