Mpaka Records boss and singer Ykee Benda is counting his blessings after surviving a deadly car accident on Monday afternoon while travelling to Kyegegwa District for the ongoing NRM campaign trail.
Eyewitnesses say the singer’s vehicle was involved in a serious crash that left fans in shock. Although details are still coming in, sources confirm that Ykee Benda walked away alive a miracle many are calling “divine.”
According to insiders, Ykee was heading for his second performance of the day on President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s campaign trail when the accident happened. He reportedly injured his shoulder and left wrist, while another passenger hit his head and was rushed to hospital for scans and first aid.
This becomes Ykee Benda’s second major accident after another scary crash he survived in November 2020 while travelling with his family.
While the cause of the accident is still unknown, all occupants escaped with minor injuries, though the vehicle was left completely wrecked.
