Patrick Mulwana, better known by his stage name Alien Skin, finds himself entangled in yet another legal battle. Last year, the singer was arrested for allegedly assaulting Tonny Ntale, a bouncer at Vox in Makindye. Now, he faces new charges.
Alien Skin’s recent arrest stems from accusations that he assaulted the son of a prominent figure.
According to blogger Ray Supastar, the situation has escalated, with the complainant’s family demanding UGX 15 million to settle the case.
Efforts to secure his release were made by his associates, Harunah Mubiru and Harunah Kasolo, who visited the Officer in Charge (OC) at Kibuye Police Station. However, their request for bail was denied. The OC explained that Alien Skin has a history of unresolved cases and that he has been released on bail multiple times before, leaving previous complainants unsatisfied.
The police have stated that Alien Skin will remain in custody until the matter is resolved. While the complainant’s family is asking for UGX 15 million to drop the charges, Alien Skin has only managed to offer UGX 3 million so far.
Negotiations are still ongoing, but for now, the singer remains detained at Kibuye Police Station on assault charges. This latest arrest adds to a growing list of legal issues surrounding the artist, leaving fans and the public anxiously awaiting the outcome.
