The latest information reaching our news desk indicates that, the secretary in the office of president, Hajji Yunus Kakande has fired the Deputy Kampala Resident City Commissioner – RCC in Charge of Rubaga Division, Herbert Anderson Burora from his role on allegations of land Wrangle and abuse of his office.
Other Sources claims that the directive came directly from the President following Herbert Anderson Burora’s continued acts of attacking and undermining of the institution of the Parliament through his (X) platform (formerly Twitter).
The office of the President is responsible for supervising RDCs.
It is politically headed by Minister for Presidency, Hon. Milly Babalanda, who is currently in Washington, U.S A. The exact duration of Burura’s suspension remains unclear, but it appears to be the first step in disciplinary proceedings against him.
