Singer Shafiq Dangote better known as Fik Gaza, has spoken out for the first time regarding his recent arrest, calling it a deliberate setup.

Fik Gaza was taken into custody yesterday from his residence and is currently being held at Kibuye Police Station amid a series of allegations linked to robbery activities.

The arrest followed a police operation targeting a rise in robbery incidents around Katwe Division.

Fik Gaza was apprehended along with three other individuals, and during the operation, items such as pangas, military attire, and suspected narcotics were recovered.

In an Instagram post addressing the situation, the “Banana” hitmaker vehemently denied the charges and suggested that the allegations were part of a calculated effort to ruin his career and tarnish his reputation.

He also  labeled the entire ordeal as a “setup” and revealed that he had been made aware of a plan to falsely arrest him on fabricated charges.

Fik Gaza further expressed his frustration with those he believes are responsible for spreading false information and trying to undermine him.

“I’m calling out the liars and the haters. I know who you are, and I know what you’re trying to do,” he wrote in the post.

The singer emphasized that he would not back down. He pledged to fight for the truth and urged his fans to rally behind him during this challenging time.

“To my fans, I need your support now more than ever. Share this post, spread the word, and let’s get the truth out!” he said.
