Renowned media personality and sports administrator Cedric Babu is currently in critical condition and fighting for his life in a Nairobi hospital. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after suffering severe heart failure and is now on life support.
Cedric’s health took a drastic turn while he was on a trip to Kigali, Rwanda. After collapsing, he was urgently airlifted to Kenya as his condition rapidly worsened.
Doctors have confirmed that Cedric babu requires an emergency heart transplant, a procedure that can only be carried out overseas. His medical team is working tirelessly to stabilize him in preparation for the transfer.
A fundraising campaign is now underway to raise £300,000 (approximately UGX 1.5 billion). These funds are needed to facilitate his medical evacuation to London and cover the cost of the life-saving surgery.
