Ugandan singer and songwriter Samuel Naminya Egesa, better known by his stage name YangJ Sound, has released a brand-new single titled “Far Away.”
Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, YangJ is currently based in Sweden and is steadily carving out a name for himself on the international music scene.
Specializing in Afrobeat, Afro Zouk, Dancehall and R&B pop, YangJ Sound continues to showcase his versatility and passion for music. His latest release, “Far Away,” is a heartfelt love ballad that captures the emotional turmoil of being separated by distance from a loved one.
In the song, YangJ expresses deep affection for a beautiful woman he loves but cannot be with, making it a relatable anthem for long-distance lovers.
The track was produced by renowned Ugandan producer Artin Pro and written by YangJ himself. Fans can expect the official music video to be released in about a week.
YangJ Sound has previously made waves with tracks like “Nakakawa” and “Nambi,” and has performed on major international stages, including the East West Vibes show at A75 in Stockholm, Sweden.
