Ugandan singer Pius Mayanja, better known as Pallaso, has responded after intimate photos of him with an unidentified woman went viral on social media.
The images, posted by an anonymous user, show Pallaso lying in bed with a woman, who appears to be naked, with him gently wrapped in her arms. Another photo features the woman, also scantily clad in just underwear, using her phone to cover her face while standing in front of a mirror.
The images sparked a firestorm of speculation, with rumors circulating that the ‘Binyuma’ singer had a sex tape circulating online. However, Pallaso took to his Twitter/X account to set the record straight and address the situation.
In his tweet, the singer acknowledged that the photos were indeed of him, but clarified that they were old images taken with a former girlfriend. He speculated that the photos might have been shared maliciously by people, possibly former friends, with whom he had fallen out after disagreements.
“Whoever posted old pictures of me and my exes should stop. I am fine where I’m at without the mess. I hope all my exes are happy and healthy. I hope all my old friends who I have outgrown are doing well. I hope everyone who has done me dirty has learned a lesson from it,” Pallaso wrote.
The singer also took a moment to apologize for any past actions that may have hurt others, acknowledging that these incidents could be connected to the leak of the photos.
“Anybody I hurt, I apologize. Forgiveness is important. I’m ready for new serious blessings this year,” he added.
Pallaso’s response emphasized moving forward and focusing on the positive, while calling for an end to the spread of old, private moments.
