Socialite and events host Sheilah Gashumba has mended ties with media personality MC Kats, putting an end to their recent online spat.
The unexpected reunion occurred midweek at the Fem Effect event held at Noni Vie. A video from the gathering shows the two warmly holding hands and engaging in conversation clear signs that the pair have buried the hatchet.
Their conflict had sparked after Sheilah, during an interview with Kasuku, suggested it was time for MC Kats to retire from television to make room for younger talent. She also cited low pay as one of the reasons she stepped away from her own TV career.
MC Kats didn’t take the remarks lightly and hit back, questioning Sheilah’s source of income and hinting that her glamorous lifestyle was funded in ways she wasn’t transparent about.
He accused her of misleading young people by masking the truth behind her success.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the duo has clashed and reconciled. Their previous fallout earlier in 2024 also ended with a public reunion in May.
