The ongoing legal battle between Professor Dr. Badru Dungu Kateregga — founder and Vice Chancellor of Kampala University and his estranged wife, Jolly Kateregga, has taken a new twist following the release of DNA test results.
According to a report from a government analyst, presented in the mediation room at the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Makindye, only two out of the couple’s three children are biologically related to him.
The test confirmed that the firstborn twins are his biological children, while the youngest child is not.
This revelation comes amid a heated dispute over property ownership, with several assets including interests linked to Kampala University at the center of the court battle.
Sources close to the professor say he is deeply shaken by the DNA results, particularly after raising the child as his own for years.
More developments are expected in the coming days.
