Musician Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso has initiated legal proceedings against Nobat Events following a series of damaging claims made by the events promoter.
Nobat Events stirred controversy after appearing on multiple social media platforms, falsely alleging that he had canceled his upcoming concert.
In addition to claiming the artist had “chickened out,” Nobat went further, accusing Pallaso of murder and making defamatory statements about his family.

After initially demanding a public retraction, Pallaso received further inflammatory remarks in response. This escalation prompted the artist to pursue legal recourse.
In a recent television interview, he confirmed that his legal team had officially served Nobat with a notice of intention to sue for defamation.
He reassured his fans that the concert is still happening and urged them to rely solely on his official channels for updates.
“The laws in Uganda are active, and we will pursue this case both civilly and criminally. There are legal consequences for his statements. But if he can prove them, then he shouldn’t be worried. My concert is still on, and it’s for my fans. I’ll be the one to communicate any changes.”, he stated.

Previously, He and Nobat worked together on one of the artist’s concerts, and Pallaso believes the fallout may have stemmed from Nobat’s past conflict with fellow musician Weasel.
