Singer Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso, has defended his attack on fellow artist Alien Skin’s residence, arguing that he had no choice but to take matters into his own hands after losing faith in the legal system.
The incident, which occurred in January at Alien Skin’s base in Fangone Forest, Makindye, was Pallaso’s response to what he describes as repeated assaults by Alien Skin’s gang.
In a recent statement, Pallaso explained that his actions were largely influenced by the case of his friend Eva, who was severely injured at her workplace in an attack by the same group.
Despite her attempts to seek justice, he claims Eva faced multiple legal obstacles and was ultimately abandoned by the system.
“I witnessed what happened to my friend Eva. She was hurt at work, and after the attack, she fought hard to get justice. She went through countless legal hurdles, but kept being let down. Eventually, even her lawyer gave up, telling her to leave everything in God’s hands,” Pallaso shared.

The struggles Eva endured made Pallaso question who the next victim could be. “I kept asking myself, when they’re done with me, who’s next? Is it my father?” he said, stressing that he was determined not to become another casualty.
Pallaso also expressed his frustration with the people in power, saying they were “too weak” to stand up to Alien Skin and his gang. This, he argued, left him with no choice but to take action himself.
“I couldn’t just stand by and watch. I saw someone trying to seek justice through the right legal channels and end up losing her money. I didn’t want to be a victim like that,” Pallaso explained.
The singer emphasized that his confrontation with Alien Skin wasn’t driven by personal vengeance, but rather by a desire to stand up against violence and impunity.
Pallaso hopes his actions will serve as a warning.
“I had to take a stand to stop the violence. I hope that, after this, they’ve learned their lesson,” he concluded.
