Media personality and events emcee Lynda Ddane has shared her thoughts on the body-shaming comments she’s received following her recent weight loss, expressing her disappointment at the lack of sensitivity some people have shown.
The NTV Uganda presenter, known for her vibrant and engaging presence, has been the subject of numerous comments speculating about her health and lifestyle. Her absence from her television show sparked further rumors, leaving fans concerned and eager for answers.
While many of her supporters offered words of encouragement and concern, others made harsh and unfounded accusations about her well-being.
In an emotional post last night, Lynda addressed the negativity, condemning the thoughtlessness of such comments. “I’ve learned that people can easily forget that others are human,” she shared.
Fans reacted in varied ways. Some encouraged her to rise above the negativity, with one follower, Phillip Kamugisha, offering words of support: “Be reminded that people are mean and insensitive. You are strong and victory is yours. God is on your side. Keep winning!”
On the other hand, some followers called for more transparency, arguing that sharing more about her situation could help silence the rumors. “People are just curious. They’ve seen you well and something seems different. Do you really expect them to stay silent?” one follower commented.
