Ugandan singer Lil Pazo Lunabe has defended the Bebe Cool List 2025, pushing back at fans and critics who questioned why some artists didn’t make the cut.
Lunabe explained that not appearing on the list isn’t a sign of lacking talent, but rather reflects how widely a song was listened to last year.
The list, curated by veteran artist Bebe Cool, celebrates tracks and artistes that shaped Uganda’s music scene in 2025. Lil Pazo Lunabe’s own hit “Ekisododo” featuring Latinum made the list, gaining praise for its broad audience reach.
He added that while some dismiss the list as a joke, those featured earned their spot through real impact and listener numbers, emphasizing that the recognition is about reach, not skill.
