Ugandan singer King Saha has opened up about a confrontation with police during his Easter Sunday performance at Calendar Rest House in Makindye, Kampala.
According to the artist, his show was briefly interrupted when police officers abruptly cut off the sound and held discussions with event organizers. After a short delay, the performance resumed.

Speaking in a recent interview with a local TV station, King Saha accused the Katwe Division Police Commander (DPC) of being behind the disruption, claiming the officer was demanding money from him.
“The Katwe DPC wanted money from me.He seemed to forget that I wasn’t the event organizer. This is my final warning to him he should stop interfering with my work. If it happens again, I won’t take it lightly.”Saha allegedly .
King Saha also revealed plans to meet with the Inspector General of Police in an effort to understand why his shows have faced repeated disruptions.
“This has to end, we cannot let greed and abuse of power destroy our music industry “, he said.
