The revelation came shortly after Gloria and her fiancé, Mbaleka Jonas, held their Kukyala a customary pre-introduction ceremony at her parents’ home last week. The couple is now preparing for a series of cultural events leading up to their official marriage.

Speaking in a candid interview with Spark TV, Baby Gloria shared that although she enjoys cooking, her strengths lie in whipping up quick, modern meals rather than traditional dishes.

“I don’t know how to cook traditional foods. I can make quick dishes like pasta, lasagna, and rice. I haven’t learned how to prepare luwombo yet and luckily, my man hasn’t asked for it,” Baby Gloria said.

Having grown up in the limelight, Gloria also mentioned that health factors influence what she cooks. She noted that her partner has a sensitive stomach when it comes to certain local foods.

“Traditional meals like matooke and groundnuts give my man heartburn, so I’m safe,” she added with a chuckle.
