Eddy Kenzo has addressed accusations suggesting that he played a role in the disruption of King Saha’s recent concluded concert.

King Saha, whose real name is Mansoor Ssemanda, made history with his successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval last Friday.

However, in a post-concert press briefing, he accused the music federation, led by Kenzo, of failing to support his event.

Saha claimed the federation stood by as his show was targeted by the police, adding that none of the music industry leaders showed solidarity or attended, which he said created a divide between those who were loyal to the federation and those who were not.

However , During recent interview Eddy Kenzo quickly dismissed Saha’s claims, stating that he had no reason to want Saha’s concert canceled, as such an outcome would have negatively impacted everyone involved, including workers and vendors.

“I had no benefit from Saha’s show being canceled. If it went on, people working at the gate, food vendors, and even Saha himself stood to earn money. I kept getting calls from promoter Abitex and manager Roger, who asked for my help with the police. They reached out to me over ten times until we got things sorted out, and the concert went on as planned. I wished them well afterward, and I helped ensure the show took place.” Kenzo explained.

Kenzo also clarified his absence from the event, saying he had prior personal commitments on that day. However, he pointed out that Pallaso, the vice president of the music federation, attended the concert, emphasizing that the federation was still represented.

“I couldn’t make it due to personal reasons, but Pallaso was there. So, we were still represented,” he added.
