Ugandan media personality DJ Roja has finally responded to swirling rumors that a sugar mummy funds his luxurious trips abroad.
The speculation followed his recent international travels, including visits to the United States in July and Amsterdam in December.

Speaking on Msafi TV, Roja dismissed the claims, insisting that his hard work and strong name in the industry make him fully capable of funding his own travels.
“At the level I am at and with the time I have worked to build my name, I do not think I can fail to have the money to take those trips. God has helped me get to a position where I can save and fund my own trips to America or France. Also, because of my name, promoters call me abroad for gigs,” Roja explained.
He revealed that his Amsterdam trip was both work-related and a chance to take a rare break after months of nonstop hustling.

“From the time I came back from the USA up to December, I was working back to back—personal business, bar gigs, TV work. Even though there were gigs on December 31, I decided to escape the chaos and take a break in Amsterdam,” he said.
With the clarification now public, DJ Roja remains unbothered by the rumors, emphasizing that his jet-setting lifestyle is simply the reward of hard work and earned opportunities.
