Tanzanian music star Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz, has officially married his longtime partner and fellow artist Zuhura Othman, better known as Zuchu.
The couple held a private nikkah ceremony, an Islamic marriage rite in front of close friends and family in Tanzania.
The two musicians, both signed to WCB Wasafi, have been romantically linked since December 2021.
Their wedding follows months of speculation and a previously postponed plan to marry ahead of Ramadan.
Diamond broke the exciting news to his fans and followers on Sunday, June 1, 2025, through a series of Instagram photos accompanied by a reflective and cryptic caption.
In the post, the Bongo Flava icon spoke about emotional maturity, patience, and the strength of remaining silent in the face of public falsehoods.
“One of the things I’ve learned is the maturity of remaining silent… This maturity requires a high level of patience. It demands you to have endurance, especially when someone or people falsely accuse you in public, while you know the truth but choose to stay quiet,” he wrote.

He added:
“It is not easy, but the rewards are great, because your battles are fought by God, and you end up winning every time.”
Diamond also hinted at his past, saying:
“I know everyone has a different picture of Diamond Platnumz and marriage. But today, I want to tell you that Diamond Platnumz has been married before… and someday I’ll explain what happened.”
The wedding was later confirmed by his mother, Mama Dangote, who shared her excitement on Instagram:
“Alhamdulillah, it went well. Congratulations, my son Naseeb and your wife Zuhura.”
In a heartwarming video making rounds on social media, Zuchu is seen beaming with joy in a car beside Diamond, saying, “My husband, we are married,” while Diamond laughs happily in the background.
Fans across social media platforms have flooded the couple with congratulatory messages, and many are now speculating whether a larger celebration is on the way.
