Former Golden Band singer Carol Nantongo has shared her thoughts on embracing motherhood, expressing both her readiness and the conditions she considers essential.
Carol revealed that she feels prepared to have a child, but only under certain circumstances. Her main priority is having a responsible and present partner.
“For the man I’m going to have a child with, he must be available and willing to take care of his children,” she said. “But if he won’t be around, I’m ready to raise the child on my own.”
She emphasized that she would only consider getting pregnant if she is confident in her ability to provide for the child independently. “I won’t get pregnant unless I know I can take care of the baby myself, in case the man walks away or doesn’t live up to his responsibilities,” Carol added.

Her remarks highlight a strong sense of self-reliance and a thoughtful approach to motherhood.
