Media personality Bina Babie real name Robina Mbabazi Muler has finally revealed why she cut ties with Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and walked away from House of Prayer Ministries International, despite once being one of his strongest defenders.
While she was still a presenter on Dembe FM, Bina Babie confessed that she used to “fight online wars” for Pr. Bugingo, attacking anyone who spoke ill of him whether they were right or wrong.
But with time, the pressure became overwhelming.
“I left because I couldn’t handle it anymore. I felt like I was fighting many battles for him. Every time after prayers, there was always another war.”she said.
According to Bina, her final breaking point came when Pastor Bugingo began attacking his ex-wife, Teddy, even after telling her he was happy in his new relationship.
“I wondered why he kept provoking her. I continued praying, but I no longer felt the spirit in his church.”,she revealed.
She added that some people even thought she was among the women he was dating, accusing her of leaving out of jealousy claims she strongly denies.
After quitting, Bina Babie struggled to find a new church immediately, but eventually settled at All Saints, where she says she has finally found peace.
The Radio 4 presenter went as far as blocking Pastor Bugingo on all social media platforms, although she admits she kept his number just in case he “returns to the right path and stops attacking fellow pastors.”
