Latest report reachinh our news indicate that Kampala Police are currently on the lookout for singer Pallaso and his gang, who are accused of attacking the residence of fellow musician Alien Skin in Kizungu Zone, Makindye Division.
The incident, which took place on Thursday, January 2, 2025, occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango confirmed that the case is being investigated by Katwe Police, under charges of aggravated robbery and malicious damage.
Alien Skin, whose real name is Patrick Mulwana, filed the complaint. Victims in the case have been identified as Mugabi Julius and a man referred to as Baker.
According to police reports, Pallaso and his group allegedly used weapons, including machetes, pit axes, hammers, and stones, during the attack.
The dispute is believed to have originated from an earlier altercation between Alien Skin and Pallaso at a music event in Buloba, Wakiso District. Onyango explained that the conflict escalated, leading to an assault on Alien Skin’s home around 3:00 a.m.
Although the initial attack was thwarted by officers from Makindye Police Station, a second wave occurred around 9:00 a.m., causing considerable damage.
Police reports indicate that five vehicles, including their windshields and lights, were damaged. Three houses also sustained significant damage, including broken glass windows.
The suspects are also accused of stealing UGX 6 million in cash. Two victims are currently receiving treatment at Mengo Hospital, while investigations continue.
The feud between the musicians is believed to have begun during the Nkuuka annual concert at Lubiri Palace on December 31, 2024, continuing into the Buloba show and culminating in the alleged attack on Alien Skin’s residence.
The Uganda Police have issued a statement condemning violence among musicians and gang involvement. They vowed to hold all responsible parties accountable.
“The Uganda Police has noted a disturbing trend where musicians use gangs to intimidate each other, leading to disorder and chaos at public events and entertainment venues,” the statement read.
The police emphasized that such actions, which have caused significant damage and unrest, will not be tolerated.
