Latest reports reaching our news desk indicates that a group of thugs armed with Machete attacked the home of Former presidential press secretary and renowned political analyst, Tamale Mirundi in Kyengera town council.
The incident happened on the night of 28th February 2024.
According to Tamale Mirundi Junior narrated that approximately 3am three armed robbery invaded his father’s home , however his father’s security managed to prevent the assailants from gaining access the home as they fired bullets at them , ensuring the safety of life and property.
Subsequently they managed to flee scene and no one was injured in the due course of the event.
It is reported that this is the fourth time Mirundi’s home to be targeted by unknown assailants.
The incident came just a few days at the Nidga clan head was attacked by gunmen Daniel Bbosa and shot him dead in Lungujja- Rubaga division.
Police is yet to come out to make official statement about the incident and we shall keep you updated.
