Renowned Ugandan businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan has issued a stern message to women who have been pursuing her sons through social media platforms.
The mother of five, four of them boys and a girl, with three now adults expressed concern over the increasing number of women overstepping boundaries in their quest to get close to her sons.
Zari revealed that the situation has escalated from casual admiration to bold and inappropriate requests.
“Some women have even gone as far as messaging me and even my husband Shakib’s mother asking to be introduced to my sons,” she said.
Clearly frustrated, Zari did not mince words when addressing the behavior.

“I’ve seen messages where women say they feel a certain way when I post my sons. Seriously? I’m their mother—stop being inappropriate,” she said.
While she acknowledged that her sons are good-looking, successful, and well-raised, Zari insisted that admiration should not lead to harassment.
“Yes, my sons are handsome, tall, and financially stable. They were planned and raised well but that doesn’t give anyone the right to hound me for access to them. Show some respect,” she stated firmly.
Zari Hassan emphasized that her role as a mother is off-limits for such disrespect. “There’s the Zari people joke about online—but when it comes to my children, that’s where I draw the line. Learn to have boundaries.”
