Ugandan-born businesswoman and reality star Zari Hassan has made headlines with bold comments about loyalty in her relationship with husband Shakib Cham.
Responding to a follower on Snapchat who questioned how she copes with being apart from her husband, Zari Hassan said she can’t control Shakib’s actions and if he chooses to cheat, she’s prepared to match that energy.
“It’s up to him,I can’t stop him or be on the phone 24/7. If he wants to cheat, he’ll do it. Men will always do what they want just like you saw my man under the mango tree.”,she said.
Zari emphasized that while she has remained faithful, she won’t hesitate to retaliate if her trust is broken.
“I know this might upset him, but people forget I’m also human. I’m far away too, and I bleed like he does. If the tables turn, I can send a one-way ticket to hell. If he’s flirting or entertaining other women, I can do the same.”,she stated.
She continued, “I don’t do it but I can, If he thinks he can sleep with someone else, why wouldn’t I be able to?”
Zari also took the opportunity to address women who blame themselves when men cheat. “It’s never about you. You could be the full package clean, beautiful, everything and he might still go for someone who doesn’t compare. Men just operate differently.”
Despite her candid remarks, many social media users were skeptical. Some suggested the drama could be staged as a promotional stunt for the upcoming season of her reality show.
