Ugandan musician Ykee Benda, born Wycliff Tugume, has officially taken a major step toward marriage by proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Emilly.
The Mpaka Records CEO popped the question during an intimate moment at Divine Resort, surrounded by a few close friends.
Going down on one knee, Ykee asked Emilly to be his wife and she joyfully said yes. He then sealed the moment by placing an engagement ring on her finger.
Ykee first introduced Emilly to the public in 2023, when he shared affectionate photos of the couple on social media, confirming their relationship.
This engagement follows the end of Ykee’s previous relationship with his baby mama, Julie Batenga. After several years of dating Emilly, the singer has now decided to take their love to the next level.
