Musician Douglas Mayanja, popularly known as Weasel Manizo, has issued a stern warning to anyone who tries to offer alcohol to his older brother and fellow artist Jose Chameleone.
In a recent interview with Spark TV, Weasel expressed his deep concern for Chameleone’s health.
“I’ll beat up anyone I find giving Chameleone alcohol. Doctors warned him not to touch it, and I’m ready to defend that by any means. I just hope I won’t end up in jail for how badly I might hurt someone.”,Weasel Manizo declared.
Chameleone was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis late last year, a condition linked to prolonged alcohol abuse. The illness severely affected his health, leading to dramatic weight loss and prompting urgent medical intervention in the United States.
Upon his return, Chameleone publicly declared that he had quit both smoking and drinking, acknowledging his past struggles with addiction and vowing to live a healthier life.
Weasel, who has taken on the role of his brother’s guardian, is committed to ensuring Chameleone stays on track.
He also addressed a recent altercation at Julie Zawedde’s home in the U.S., revealing it stemmed from Chameleone secretly consuming alcohol despite strict medical advice.
