After years of anticipation,the remaining half of the Goodlyfe duo, Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo is set hold his Concert on 9th August 2024.
Weasel said that the show will take place at Hotel Africana. More issues such as the concert taxes and others are still being kept under wraps but the artist will disclose them in his subsequent address.
Weasel has signed partnership with Promoter Nobat events and it is going be Weasel Manizo’s first concert ever since the demise of his singing partner Mowezy Radio.
The last time Radio & Weasel graced the concert stage was in November 2017 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. The event was a celebration of their remarkable 10-year journey in the music industry, occurring just two months before the unfortunate passing of Mowzey Radio. The absence of their joint presence has left a void in the hearts of their devoted followers.
Since Mowzey Radio’s demise, Weasel has faced challenges in maintaining the momentum of their music career. The upcoming concert is expected to be an emotional journey for both the surviving member and fans, serving as a tribute to the remarkable musical partnership that defined an era in Ugandan music.
