Rising Ugandan artist Victor Ruz, whose real name is Wajja Victor, has publicly expressed disappointment in his management team, accusing them of holding back his career by refusing to release his music.
In a heartfelt video making rounds on social media, Victor Ruz called out his manager, Joseph Zamba, alleging that despite having completed multiple projects, none have been released since their last collaboration on the 2023 single Tattoo.
The singer made it clear that there is no personal conflict with his management.
“We don’t have any serious issues that would stop us from releasing music.I appreciate all they’ve done for me, but I just don’t understand why things aren’t moving forward.”,he said.
Victor explained that although they’ve been recording songs, collaborating with other artists, and investing heavily in video production, all efforts have gone to waste due to delayed or canceled releases.

His attempts to get clarity from Zamba have gone unanswered, leaving him feeling stranded and creatively stifled.
“I’m just stuck. I don’t know my next move, and that’s a very frustrating place to be.This isn’t just a passion it’s my career, my business. And I can’t afford to waste time like this.”,he said.
Ruz also revealed that his recent releases, such as Nsembeza and Finally featuring Gloria Bugie, were solo projects launched without the support or input of his management. As a result, he hasn’t been able to promote them through media tours or interviews.
Going public, he said, was his way of being transparent with fans who’ve been wondering why he hasn’t put out new music.
“I want to share my gift with the world. I compose every day, and I thank God for that. But what’s the point if the music never sees the light of day?,It’s not for me alone. The gift is meant to be shared. Is that really too much to ask?”he added.
