After security concerns led to the postponement of King Saha’s concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval yesterday, the event has now been officially cleared to go ahead.
The “Biri Biri” hitmaker, King Saha, completed his sound check yesterday evening, and everything is set for the concert to kick off.
According to a statement from the Uganda Police, a meeting was held with a joint security team, event organizers, and venue managers to discuss and implement key safety measures for the event.
One significant change made following the discussions is the restriction on using the pavilion at the venue.
Authorities cited the pavilion’s poor structural condition as a safety risk, and to ensure the well-being of attendees, its use has been prohibited.
