Top Best Choreographers And Dancers In Uganda’s Entertainment Industry

Music and choreography perfectly complement each other, since they roll hand in hand. However, dancers in Uganda’s entertainment Industry have managed to hold the Country’s flag high locally, on the East African and International level.

Below are some of our top five gifted dancers in the entertainment industry.

 

1. Ghetto Kids

Formerly known as the Triplets Ghetto kids, they are a dance music group which was founded in 2014 by a one Dauda Kavuma composed of children from Katwe slums in Kampala city.

These kids first appeared in Eddy Kenzo’s hit song ‘Sitya Loss’ which was their breakthrough and have never looked back since then. In this case, they have appeared on major platforms in French Montana’s Unforgettable, East Aftica’s got talent show and more so at the World Cup 2022 event in Qatar.

 

2. Dance With Valentino

Richard Kabenge is a Ugandan Latin and Ballroom dancer and actor who hosts the reality talk show on NTV Uganda.

He is a professional dancer who has been noticed on several platforms where he coaches individuals in-order for them to pick a leaf from his dancing skills.

 

3. Dance Mamweta

She is the first ever female solo female dancer in Uganda with the biggest energy when it comes to stage and music video performances.

Mamweta has also collaborated with other dancers in some music videos and she also has dance classes where she teaches dance.

 

4. Eddy Wizzy

A Ugandan performer, dance judge, teacher and choreographer he is by real names Moses Kyeyune and among Uganda’s professional dancers.

He has worked with several artists both local and on an international level forexample French Montana,Swae Le, Bebe cool, Sheebah Karungi among others.

 

5. Masaka Kids Africana

At a young age, these kids have managed to rise the Ugandan flag high, collaborated with some of Uganda’s biggest stars, Africa and Internationally.

They featured in Eddy Kenzo’s ‘Tweyagale’ music video which recently hit 100million views.

However, the dance and choreography in Uganda has grown to groom most of the gifted and talented dancers which has earned them both a living and taken them places.
