Ugandan music producer and songwriter Arnold Bungamuzi alias Andy Muzic, has disclosed that his home studio in Nsawo, Namugongo, was recently broken into by thieves who stole equipment worth Millions.
According to Andy, the robbers specifically targeted his expensive studio gear. He explained after breaking into his bedroom, they only took his perfumes, leaving the rest of the room in disarray.
He believes that the culprits must have known a lot about his setup, as they were highly selective in what they took.
The stolen items include an Apple iMac computer worth UGX 6 million, a soundcard valued at UGX 2.5 million, a piano worth over UGX 780,000, among other valuable equipment.
Andy Muzic has reported the incident to the police, and investigations are underway. Authorities have collected fingerprints from tools, such as knives and screwdrivers, that the thieves used to break into his home.
In an emotional video shared on TikTok, Andy expressed his frustration: “This is not fair. We work so hard to make a living, and this is what people do? You want others to suffer, why?”
