Abba Marcus, the eldest son of renowned musician Jose Chameleone, has opened up about a recent rift between him and his father following the revelation of Chameleone’s health condition.

During a TikTok live session, the 19-year-old discussed his relationship with Chameleone, the tensions with his grandparents, and his upcoming YouTube video that will provide more insight into his struggles.

Abba, who has been outspoken about his personal issues, shared that his father seemingly cut him off after he disclosed Chameleone’s battle with acute pancreatitis, a condition linked to excessive alcohol consumption.

When asked if he had been in contact with his father, Abba revealed that despite making several attempts to reach out, he had not received a response from Chameleone.

“My sisters and brothers said they spoke to him, but he hasn’t texted or reached out to me personally. Is he mad at me? Honestly, I don’t really care, as long as he’s getting the help he needs,” Abba stated. He believes his father’s anger will pass, adding, “Him being alive is permanent.”Abba

Despite the ongoing tension, Abba emphasized that he still holds deep love for his father, referring to him as one of his best friends.

“Before he got sick, we were talking a lot. My dad is my good friend, both my parents are my best friends. My dad gives me a lot of advice,” he said.

Abba also addressed his previous comments about his grandparents, whom he had described as “evil.” When asked whether he would apologize, he was firm in his response. “That’s not happening. I’d rather die before I apologize. One thing I’ll advise everyone is to be unapologetically yourself. Don’t apologize for being who you are.”

Abba also mentioned his plans to release a YouTube video that would shed light on his strained relationship with his grandparents.

He further explained that the video, set to release either before or after Christmas, would provide his side of the story.

“The motive is to tell the truth. If anything goes wrong, I want the whole country to see who’s at fault and who didn’t do what they were supposed to. It’s better to speak out than stay silent,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chameleone has flown to the USA for treatment. He is expected to stay for at least a month in a top medical facility before undergoing three months of bed rest to fully recover.
