Shifrah, the once-popular star who rose to fame with her hit song Hoozambe alongside D-Star, is now grappling with a difficult chapter in her life.
Known for her vibrant personality and internet stardom, she now finds herself facing financial instability and personal stress as she struggles to make ends meet.
In a candid moment, Shifrah shared the emotional toll of her current situation:
“I’m stressed because of my child, stressed because of rent. First of all, if you’re not working, you’re stressed,” she confessed.
With a monthly rent of UGX 170,000 weighing heavily on her, Shifrah admits that without a steady income, even the simplest tasks have become a challenge. Despite these setbacks, she holds onto the hope of starting a small business to provide for herself and her child.
Adding to her difficulties, Shifrah experienced a fallout with her previous management, which she says left her feeling used and exploited.
“I had some issues with my old management, and we parted ways because I felt like I was being exploited,” she explained.
Since then, Shifrah has been trying to rebuild her online presence, even launching a new TikTok account in hopes of landing fresh opportunities. However, her efforts have yet to yield the results she was hoping for.
Now, the once-celebrated artist is reaching out to her supporters, hoping for some help as she works to regain her footing and create a more stable life for herself and her child.
