Media personality Sheilah Gashumba has issued a firm warning to online critics, revealing that she is ready to take legal action against anyone who uses her name in acts of cyber harassment.
Speaking on her Snapchat, Sheilah made it clear that she is done tolerating online abuse and will now rely on Uganda’s cyber harassment laws to deal with offenders.

In what she described as her “end of friendship lecture,” Sheilah cautioned social media users to think twice before posting anything about her that could be considered abusive, defamatory, or harassing.
“Secondly this year, we shall be using the cyber harassment bill on most of you. Just live in Uganda and post any cyber harassment using my name or anything that describes me from today, January 4,” she warned.
Although she did not single out any individuals, the message appeared to be directed at critics, trolls, and anyone who frequently attacks or discusses her online in a negative way.

Her statement signals a new approach any harmful or defamatory content shared about her going forward could attract serious legal consequences.
