Media personality and Events host Sheilah Gashumba has stirred conversation with her bold opinion that longtime TV host MC Kats should step away from television.
Speaking in a recent interview on Kasuku Live, Sheilah shared her thoughts on the evolution of her media career, revealing she stepped away from TV years ago due to low pay and to make space for new talent.
She noted that while she and MC Kats are longtime friends who both worked at WBS TV ,NTV Uganda and NBS TV, she believes it’s important for seasoned presenters to recognize when it’s time to move on.
“There are people I still see on TV that shouldn’t be there anymore. Time is up. You have to leave room for others to rise and find something new to focus on.My friend MC Kats shouldn’t be on set anymore.”Sheilah said
Her comments have sparked debate about the longevity of media personalities and when it’s time to pass the torch.
