Sharon, a young woman, has made serious allegations against renowned singer Vyroota, claiming he impregnated her and later pressured her into terminating the pregnancy against her will.
In her statement, Sharon revealed that Vyroota was the only person she had been intimate with since leaving school.
She explained that the two had consensual intercourse during a visit to Vyroota’s home in Namugongo. Soon after, Sharon’s aunt noticed changes in her appearance and suspected she was pregnant.
Sharon alleges that Vyroota, along with his manager Walugembe and a friend named Hamza, pressured her to abort the pregnancy. Despite Sharon expressing her desire to keep the child, they argued that Vyroota wasn’t ready for fatherhood.
When Sharon refused to have an abortion, she claims Vyroota and his associates tricked her into taking pills they said were for her health and the baby’s protection.
After taking the pills, Sharon experienced severe pain, bleeding, and was hospitalized, ultimately losing the pregnancy.
Following the ordeal, Sharon says Vyroota cut all contact with her, blocking her on social media and refusing to speak with her. Feeling betrayed, she reported the matter to the police, leading to Vyroota’s arrest and imprisonment.
