Renowned Ugandan lawyer and Kampala Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Shamim Malende, has confirmed her breakup with her longtime partner, Ssebunya Andrew, popularly known as Palace King.
Speculation about trouble in their relationship began circulating online after Malende’s social media accounts briefly shared cryptic posts hinting at a possible split. The posts were later deleted, but during a recent press briefing, the MP addressed the matter directly.
Malende revealed that following a disagreement, Palace King allegedly seized two of her vehicles — a Toyota Harrier (registration number UBK 862D) and a Super Custom (UBD 850N).
She also claimed he took control of her social media accounts, including her verified Facebook pages, and is attempting to gain access to her YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) accounts, significantly disrupting her online communication.
In a concerning turn, Malende stated that she now fears for her safety and urged her supporters to keep her in their prayers during this challenging time.
