Businessman and socialite Shakib Cham Lutaaya has spoken out to clear the air regarding recent rumors circulating on social media about his wife, Zari Hassan, allegedly faking a miscarriage.
The speculation began after Zari herself took to social media to share that she had been six weeks pregnant but unfortunately lost the baby.
In her post, she mentioned that she was slowly healing from the emotional and physical toll of the loss.
However, the announcement was met with skepticism and judgment from some fans, who questioned her story citing her age and the number of children she already has. Others criticized her for continuing to grow her family with different partners.
Addressing the backlash, Shakib expressed disappointment over the harsh criticism directed at his wife during such a sensitive time.
He confirmed that Zari did, in fact, suffer a miscarriage, and emphasized that the experience has been deeply painful for them both.
“It’s true, Zari had a miscarriage, but it’s not something I want to keep talking about. Everyone knows it’s not easy but we’ll heal,” Shakib stated.
He concluded by saying that, while the situation has been difficult, they believe everything happens for a reason and are choosing to focus on healing and moving forward.
