Singer and songwriter Derrick Ddungu, popularly known as Rickman Manrick, has firmly denied recent rumors linking him to romantic relationships with older, wealthy women commonly referred to as sugar mummies.
Addressing the speculation, Rickman made it clear that he lives a modest and straightforward life, and has never been involved with anyone significantly older than himself.
“I’ve never dated any sugar mummy. I just live my simple life,the only person I’ve ever been in a relationship with was my agemate we’re only a few months apart in age.”,Rickman stated.
Rickman, who is known for maintaining a low profile and steering clear of the celebrity spotlight, explained that he deliberately avoids frequent interaction with public figures to keep away from unnecessary drama.
“I choose to stay away from too many associations with public figures to avoid conflicts and counter accusations.The only time I interact with them is at the Bayern Arena pitch during soccer.”,he said.
Looking ahead in his music career, Rickman shared his aspirations to reach a global audience. However, he emphasized that he’s in no rush, trusting that success will come when the time is right.
