Troubled singer Lubega Tony, popularly known as Red Banton has come forward with startling accusations against fellow musician Jose Chameleone, claiming he bewitched him and left him feeling like a walking corpse.
In a recent interview, the “Balogo” hitmaker opened up about his ongoing struggles, expressing deep concern over his physical and spiritual well-being.
Red Banton believes that only Mama Fina, the President of the Uganda Traditional Healers Association, has the power to help him break free from what he calls a dark spell.
According to Red Banton, Chameleone allegedly used the services of a witch doctor named Kabanga from Kyagwe, even going so far as to build a shrine for him. He insists that this spiritual attack has left him feeling lifeless and disconnected, claiming his soul was buried in Nkokonjeru.
“I feel like a dead body walking, my spirit was taken, and now I live in constant fear.”,he confessed.
Banton added that he can’t bear to be near Chameleone and flees whenever they cross paths.
“He’s the one who put me in this situation. Why would he want to see me come out of it?” he said.
Now desperate for healing, Red Banton is appealing to Mama Fina to connect him with a traditional healer who can help him recover from what he believes is a spiritual affliction.
