Radio 4 Uganda Appoints Bina Babie as Programs Director

Radio 4 Uganda, based in Ntinda, has appointed renowned media personality Mbabazi Mulera, popularly known as Bina Babie, as its new Programs Director.

The announcement was made via the station’s official social media platforms, revealing that Bina Babie who had been working as a presenter has now taken on the leadership role in programming.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Robina Mbabazi (Bina Babie) as the new Programs Director (PD) of Radio 4 Uganda, with immediate effect.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Mbabazi on this well-deserved achievement and look forward to her leadership in driving our programming vision to greater heights,” the station posted.

Bina Babie joined Radio 4 last year as the host of the Mid-Morning Show. Her promotion is seen as a recognition of her remarkable radio talent, developed and refined over years of experience on air.

Before joining Radio 4, she was a prominent voice on Dembe FM, where she hosted the popular Mubeezi mid-morning show for over 20 years. Her engaging style earned her a loyal following among listeners.

As Programs Director, Bina will now be responsible for overseeing all station content including music selection, talk shows, on-air talent management, and ensuring compliance with broadcasting regulations.
