Veteran Ugandan Music producer Didi, real name Abdul Karim Muchwa, recently shared an unexpected story about singer Geosteady’s first experience in a rehabilitation facility.
In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Didi recalled that shortly after Geosteady born Kigozi Hassan was admitted, he immediately expressed his desire to leave.
Upon seeing Didi, the singer reportedly asked for a pen and paper to draw up a “prison break plan” to escape from the rehab center.
“When Geosteady had just checked into the rehab and saw me, he asked for a pen and paper to draw a prison break plan. That was in 2024, during his first visit. He didn’t want to stay there,” Didi revealed.
However, Didi noted that Geosteady’s attitude changed during his second visit to the facility. By then, the singer had come to terms with his situation and was more receptive to the rehabilitation process.
“On the second visit, he was calm and willing to listen,” Didi added.
The producer also pointed out that escaping from rehab is nearly impossible, as authorities closely monitor patients and quickly return anyone who tries to flee.
