Didi has been battling HIV-related health issues for some time, and recent developments indicate that his condition has worsened.
In a recent interview, Didi revealed that his medical bills have accumulated to the point where he risks being discharged from the hospital because he can no longer afford to pay them.
He has appealed to Ugandans for financial assistance to continue his treatment, expressing hope that he will regain his health.
Although a few artists and fellow producers have pooled resources to support his medical needs, his condition requires ongoing treatment that they can no longer afford.
Didi’s health struggles initially came to light when he disclosed that he was suffering from ulcers. At that time, he asked musicians he had previously worked with for help with medication and food. While some responded, others did not.
Last month, his health took a turn for the worse, prompting his close friends to rush him to the hospital. Despite having undergone an HIV test a few months earlier, they decided to test him once again. Sadly, the results confirmed that he was HIV positive.
