Paul Put Names 26-Man Squad for 2024 CHAN Qualifier Against Burundi

As Uganda Cranes prepares for their crucial 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Burundi, head coach Paul Put has named a 26-man squad for the upcoming two-legged matches.

The two teams will face off on December 26th and 29th, 2024, at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo. Uganda, along with Kenya and Tanzania, has already secured a spot in the tournament as hosts, while Burundi and other East African nations are vying for the region’s fourth slot.

The team will begin non-residential training on December 21st before entering camp on December 25th at Nob View Hotel ahead of the two crucial games.

The 2024 CHAN tournament is scheduled to take place from February 1st to 28th, 2025.
