Renowned gospel artist and long-time bachelor, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, has caught many by surprise with his recent remarks about marriage, particularly his openness to marrying a Muslim woman, despite being a devout Born Again Christian.
In an interview on Galaxy TV, Pastor Bugembe addressed public curiosity about his single status. He acknowledged the attention but pointed out that he isn’t alone in remaining unmarried.
“I appreciate that people care about my marriage, but I’m not the only one who’s single in Kampala I’m just the well-known one,Of course, I am praying for a God-fearing, Born Again woman.”he said.
Still, Pastor Bugembe made it clear that he’s not limiting himself if God’s plan leads him in another direction.
“If God says do something, don’t question Him,If He gives me a Muslim woman, I have no problem with that.”,he explained.
He went on to express deep gratitude for the support he’s received from Muslims throughout his life.
“The people who have helped me the most in life have been Muslims,” he shared.
Pastor Bugembe’s remarks have sparked discussion online, highlighting his openness, humility, and focus on divine guidance over societal expectations.
