Pastor Bujjingo Hits Back at Critics Demanding Pentagon Church Accountability

Aloysius Bujjingo, lead pastor of House of Prayer Ministries International, has strongly criticized those demanding answers regarding the long-delayed construction of the much-publicized Pentagon Church.

Nearly a decade ago, Pastor launched a major fundraising campaign for the ambitious project, reportedly collecting over a billion Ugandan Shillings largely contributed by his congregation.

However, despite the significant funds raised, no visible progress has been made on the church’s construction, sparking widespread speculation and accusations of financial misconduct.

In recent months, a number of online users have reignited calls for accountability, demanding to know what happened to the project. Notably, many of those leading the campaign are not members of Bujjingo’s church.

In response, Pastor has repeatedly defended the delays, asserting that the church will be built in due time. During a recent sermon, he took a more aggressive stance, instructing his congregation to confront and dismiss the critics.

He further claimed that many of those demanding answers are “very poor” and should focus on improving their own lives instead of “meddling” in the affairs of Canaan Land.

Despite the controversy, Bujjingo reassured his followers that the church will eventually be constructed and will feature a state-of-the-art swimming pool designated for baptism ceremonies.

He argued that the ministry currently avoids baptism at common water sources due to what he described as “unhealthy and spiritually compromised” environments.
